We want you to love your EXO Golf products. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. This policy outlines your mandatory rights and our obligations under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).
1. Statutory Return Rights and Windows
Your eligibility for a return depends on the reason for the return and is subject to the following statutory windows:

2. The USED Goods Clause
We will not accept or refund any glove that has been visibly used, worn, or altered, except where the glove is being returned due to a defect covered under the 6-month CPA warranty.

Gloves returned for a change of mind (under the 7-day ECTA period) must be returned in a resalable condition. Visible signs of wear, marks, dirt, or alterations will result in the return being rejected, as the product is no longer suitable for resale.
3. Right to Cancel
As a customer buying online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order without reason or penalty within 7 calendar days of receiving your product (the "Cooling-Off Period").

Refund: We will issue a full refund of the purchase price within 30 days of the date of cancellation.

Return Costs: You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us.

Condition: The product must be returned to us unused and in its original packaging with tags intact.
4. Defective or Incorrect Products
If your glove is found to be defective, damaged upon arrival, or if we sent you the incorrect item, you are covered by the CPA's implied warranty of quality for 6 months from the date of delivery.

Your Choice: Under the CPA (Section 56), you have the right to request, at your discretion, either a refund, a repair, or a replacement.

Shipping Cost: We will cover the cost of all return shipping if the glove is found to be genuinely defective, incorrect, or not fit for its intended purpose.
5. Limits of the 6-Month CPA Warranty
The 6-month CPA warranty explicitly covers inherent manufacturing faults or poor quality materials, and it does not cover:

Fair Wear and Tear: As a consumable sports product used for impact and friction (golfing), the natural deterioration or breakdown of the glove due to regular, intended use is considered fair wear and tear and is not a defect.

Damage from Misuse: Damage caused by improper care, machine washing on an incorrect cycle, chemical exposure, or damage from impact not related to intended use (e.g., snagging, tears) is not covered by this warranty.

Expected Lifespan: While the EXO Glove is designed for superior durability, the warranty is for manufacturing defects, not a guarantee of a minimum lifespan.
6. Pre-Orders & Deposits
The deposit paid for pre-order or reservation gloves is used to procure raw materials and reserve production capacity.

Customer Cancellation: If you choose to cancel your pre-order, WeVest-8 (Pty) Ltd will retain a reasonable cancellation charge from your deposit, in accordance with Section 17 of the CPA. The remainder of the deposit (if any) will be refunded.

Our Cancellation: If WeVest-8 (Pty) Ltd cancels production or cannot fulfill your order, your deposit will be fully refunded.
7. Conditions for All Returns
To be eligible for a return:

The glove must be unused, unworn, and unaltered (unless the return is due to a covered 6-month defect).

It must be returned in its original packaging where possible.

Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

If a returned glove is found to be used, visibly worn, or altered, we may reduce the refund amount or reject the return at our discretion.

9. Refunds and Exchanges

Refund Processing: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed via your original payment method within 7–10 working days.

Exchanges: At this stage, we do not offer direct product exchanges. If you would like a different size or item, please return your product for a refund and place a new order.
