Performance testing

EXO vs Golf Glove Test Results

We believed improving the connection to the club should improve golf. So we tested golfers using EXO against traditional golf gloves.

Across controlled testing sessions golfers using EXO consistently produced measurable improvements in carry distance and, in many sessions, tighter dispersion.

Not from swinging harder.
From producing more centered, repeatable strikes.

This is not presented as a formal peer reviewed scientific study. It is presented as what it is: careful, structured product testing using high accuracy launch monitors, real golfers, and recorded results.

FlightScope® Verified

“We worked closely with EXO to test their nanotech enhanced gloves and were impressed by the results showing measurable gains in both distance and accuracy.”

Lead finding

100%

Driver carry increased in every recorded driver test to date

Avg. +8.3 yards Max recorded +23.9 yards

EXO has outperformed leather for carry distance in every recorded driver comparison to date.

We do not represent this as a guaranteed outcome across all golfers for all time. Rather it represent an accurate description of the driver results recorded to date.

No meaningful increase in swing speed was observed. The performance signal appears to come from better quality ball striking, leading to increased distance over a median number of shots.

Test protocol

Launch monitors
To date, all controlled testing has been conducted using FlightScope® and TrackMan® — high-quality, calibrated launch monitors recommended for accurate performance measurement.
Glove comparison
Testing was performed within single sessions. Each tester used their glove of choice versus EXO, with all other variables kept as constant as possible. Testing was stopped immediately upon signs of fatigue to reduce variability.
Ball variable
The same ball specification was used throughout each test. In indoor sessions, the exact same ball was used for every shot to eliminate ball-related variance.
Environment
Testing included both indoor and outdoor range conditions to capture performance across different real-world environments.
Accuracy metric
Accuracy was measured using standard deviation of dispersion, rather than simple off-center distance, providing a more robust measure of shot consistency.
Distance metric
Distance was measured using median carry distance to reduce the influence of outliers and better reflect typical shot performance.

Expert review

"I tested the EXO glove — it delivers measurable gains in grip and performance. But above all else, it will help golfers enjoy the game more. And isn't that what it's all about!"

Neil Cheetham — golf coach and former European Tour professional

Version history

V1–V3
Prototyping and in-house testing phases. Zyntech™ nanocell placement, glove construction, and fit were iterated across three versions to establish a consistent performance signal before external testing began.
V4
First version tested with external golfers across controlled sessions. Results showed measurable distance and accuracy gains across a range of player profiles. Full V4 results available here.
V5
Current production version. All testing data on this page is based on V5.

Enlarged Zyntech™ nanotech zone on the palm to maximise energy transfer at impact. Refined nanotech placement on pinky and ring finger calluses to reduce micro-slipping and twisting, even compared to a brand-new leather glove. Additional nanotech layer higher up the fingers for improved control during high-speed swings. Durability enhancements at key stress points without increasing bulk.

These changes were made with one goal: to create the most stable, efficient, and performance-driven connection between a golfer's hands and the club.
All aggregate results shown are based on V5 testing. V4 results are documented separately and linked above.
